Programe purpose:

The programme aims for preparation of a specialist in food products culinary for the local, as well as, international labour market, who will be able to work in the hotel or restaurant kitchen following food hygiene, sanitary norms and food safety standards.

Programme duration: Modular – 15 months / Dual – 24 months

Eligibility criteria: basic education

Expected results

  • Ability to carry primary and hand processing of food products and materials;
    • Carry out thermal processing of raw materials and products;

    • Cook widespread main dishes and garnishes from Georgian cuisine;

The programme purpose:

The programme aims for preparation of confectionery specialist, who is able to make different confectionary products following sanitary and hygiene norms and food safety standards.

Programme duration: Modular – 16 months / Dual – 24 months

  • Making different bakery products, including, brioche;
    • Making hot-dog, toast bread;

The programme purpose:

The programme purpose is to prepared the specialists in hotel service for local and international labour market as well.

Programme duration:  Dual – 2 years / Modular (integrated) – 3 years / Modular (non-integrated) – 16 months

Approaches for implementation of the vocational education programme: Modular

The programme purpose:

The programme purpose is to prepare bartenders responsible for daily working of a bar, satisfaction of the guests and staff, following safety and hygiene standards, who ensures product quality and is involved in its selling following service standards.

Programme duration:  11 – months

Programme eligibility criteria: basic education, age – 18.

Expected results:

  • Making and serving alcoholic drinks according to the standard;
    • Making and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails;
    • Making and serving hot non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks;
  • Carrying financial settlement according to the defined rules;
    • Following security norms;
    • Opening (mise en place) and closing of working day;
    • Communicating in English language regarding professional activities;
    • Providing first aid when needed;

Modular / Dual

Programme purpose:

The programme purpose is to give an opportunity to learn about floor and tile works, to give relevant knowledge in the mentioned qualification for developing skills and competencies, so the graduate is able to use knowledge received into practice and be highly qualified, competitive employee in the construction field.

Programme duration: modular – 15 months / dual – 24 months

Programme eligibility criteria: basic education

Expected results:

  • Prepare floor and walls for facing works;
    • Sorting tiles of different shapes;
    • Cutting tiles in different shapes;
    • Preparing grout and glue-cement mixture for laying tiles and mosaic tiles;
    • Laying terracotta, granite, vinyl, soft or other types of floors;
    • Carrying screeding of concrete and polymeric industrial floor;
    • Refining dry floor made from mortar and sand-cement solution;
    • Arranging under tile hydro isolation;
    • Arranging wood floor following the safety standards.

• Arrange riprap and riprap concrete walls following the safety standards;
• Carry out facing works of façade with a natural and artificial stone;

Approaches for implementation of the vocational education programme: Dual

Programme purpose:

The programme purpose is to prepare qualified specialists in the roads construction, who are able to construct, provide service, infrastructure maintenance, repair works, reconstruction and rehabilitation for roads.

Programme duration:  – 24 months

Programme eligibility criteria: basic education, age – 18.

Expected results:

A person with a basic vocational qualification in roads construction, in particular “motor roads construction”, is able to:
• Manage information on the profession;
• Describe key principles of organizational arrangement in the specific profession;
• Define and implement specific goals for professional growth and development;
• Select construction materials, tools and equipment;
• Check pre-condition of roadbed for arrangement of pavement;
• Perform asphalt concrete laying works in the work station;

    • Participate in the process of traffic restriction of the roads;

Programme purpose:

The programme purpose is to prepare a sewing specialist, who is skilled to sew different clothes, develop sketches for sewing, select/use materials, tools, sewing machines and thermal devices, carry constructive-technological processing of clothing. The programme aims for preparing highly qualified specialist, who will perform obligations following quality and safety standards. The specialist will be equipped with the professional and general/transfer skills.

Programme duration:  – 17 months

Programme purpose:

The programme purpose is to prepare highly qualified specialist in the sewing production, who has skills for construction, modelling and developing of female, male, children clothing and different purpose sewing products, sewing and decorative designing of Georgian traditional clothes, tailoring, re-designing and repairing of clothes, selecting/using sewing machines and thermal-wetting devices and controlling sewing product quality.

Programme duration:  – 19 months
